Nevada wants control of its side of Lake Tahoe

There's a bill circulating in the Nevada legislature that will remove Nevada from the Tahoe Regional Planning Compact.  That's the compact formed in 1969 that creates a co-op between California and Nevada to protect Lake Tahoe.  But, for years landowners have fought it, claiming it takes away from their ability to expand development.
