Comstock Lode

Nevada's first boom was in Virginia City just before the Civil War. Author Dennis Drabelle has written a new history of the big silver boom. It's called "Mile-High Fever: Silver Mines, Boom Towns and High Living on the Comstock Lode." We talk to him about Nevada's early history and the larger-than-life characters who made it.
