Black Holes

UNR scientist Roberto Mancini is cooking plasmas to unimaginable temperatures to imitate what happens to matter near black holes. Why do we need to replicate the behavior of matter in the first billion years of the universe... when it was really young. Mancini explains the significance of his research and an official of the National Nuclear Safety Administration explains how that agency is funding the work.
