Delaware Sports Betting

The U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals has killed the State of Delaware's plan to introduce Nevada-style sportsbooks. The state hoped that it could generate some extra revenue to close an $800-million budget shortfall. I. Nelson Rose, a leading authority on gambling law explains why sportsbooks are only legal in Nevada.
