If you're listening to this program while behind the wheel, there's a chance you'll witness the rapid lane changes, tailgating, obscene gestures and other bad and dangerous behaviors that define our topic: aggressive driving and road rage.
While there's little hard data on the subject, surveys indicate Southern Nevadans believe motorists have become more mean spirited over the past decade.
And that aggressive driving is now a serious problem. Earlier this month, a Las Vegas man was shot and killed while driving. Police suspect that slaying might have been an incident of road rage.
Guests: Detective Bill Redfairn, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department; Trooper Kevin Honea, Nevada Highway Patrol; Erin Breen, coordinator, UNLV's Traffic Safety Coalition; John Phillips, instructor, Drive Friendly Driving School
