Garrett Rolfe, who is charged with felony murder in the death of Rayshard Brooks at a Wendy's in Atlanta, is expected to ask the judge to be released from jail on bond while his case is pending.
Garrett Rolfe and Devin Brosnan surrender to authorities one day after prosecutors unveiled the charges against them. Rolfe faces the possibility of execution or life in prison without parole.
L. Chris Stewart says the Atlanta police officer who fatally shot Brooks did not fear for his life at the time of the shooting. "He was enraged," says Stewart.
Rayshard Brooks was killed during an attempted arrest late Friday. Erika Shields resigned as police chief Saturday. One officer has been terminated and another placed on administrative duty.
