Dropicana 2.0 is on the way, according to the Nevada Department of Transportation. The agency on Monday released a video detailing work being done at I-15 and Tropicana for the Super Bowl and beyond.
The second phase of the project will include demolition of the south half of the Tropicana bridge over I-15. Drivers are asked to avoid I-15 between the Spaghetti Bowl and 215 interchange between Feb. 16 and Feb. 19.

Here are the full details, according to NDOT:
Tropicana Ave. Full Closure
Saturday, Jan. 27 at 1 a.m. to Thursday, Feb. 1 at 9 a.m.
- Tropicana Ave. fully closed between New York-New York and Dean Martin Dr.
- All on/off ramps at I-15 & Tropicana Ave. closed
- Closure is necessary to prepare Tropicana Ave. for a temporary configuration for the Super Bowl
Temporary Super Bowl Configuration
Thursday, Feb. 1 at 9 a.m. to Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 9 p.m.
- East- and westbound Tropicana Ave.: Three lanes in each direction
- Temporary replacement of diverging diamond interchange
- New access from southbound I-15 to westbound Tropicana Ave & westbound Tropicana Ave. to northbound I-15
- No left turns allowed due to a height difference between the north and south sections of the Tropicana Ave. bridge. Traffic cannot cross bridge sections.
Tropicana Ave. Full Closure
Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 9 p.m. to Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 5 a.m.
- Tropicana Ave. fully closed between New York-New York and Dean Martin Dr.
- All on/off ramps at I-15 & Tropicana Ave closed
- Closure is necessary to prepare Tropicana Ave. for Phase 3 of construction, return the temporary diverging diamond interchange movement, and prepare for Dropicana 2.0

Friday, Feb. 16 at 9 p.m. to Monday, Feb. 19 at 5 a.m.
- I-15 fully closed in both directions between Russell Rd and Flamingo Rd
- Tropicana Ave. fully closed in both directions between NYNY and Dean Martin Dr.
- All on/off ramps at I-15 & Tropicana Ave closed
- Additional ramp closures:
- Flamingo Rd onramp to southbound I-15
- Harmon Ave ramps at I-15
- Northbound I-15 access to Arena Dr
- Russell Rd onramp to northbound I-15
