Las Vegas airport sees twice as many fliers compared to same time last year

More than twice as many people flew through Harry Reid International Airport in February compared to the same month in 2021.

In 2021, the airport saw 1,614,130 passengers, and last month, the airport saw 3,343,562 passengers – a 107.1% difference.

To date, 6,490,735 passengers have passed through Reid, a 108.1% change overall compared to 2021.

The biggest change year-to-year was in international passengers, where February 2021 saw 8,033 international fliers, and last month saw 100,233. It’s notable that many countries had restricted air travel due to coronavirus.

Domestic travel was up 103.2% year-to-year.
