Police: Victim In Attempted Carjacking Killed When Run Over

HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) — Henderson police say no immediate arrest was in the death of a man run over by his own car during a carjacking attempt.

The incident occurred Tuesday in a desert area near a resort.

According to police, the person attempting to steal the man's car got control of it and ran the man over before abandoning the car and running away. The victim's identity wasn't released and no description of the suspect was immediately available.
