Nevada Reports 301 New Confirmed COVID-19 Cases And 4 Deaths

CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Health officials in Nevada on Sunday reported 301 new confirmed COVID-19 cases and four more deaths.

That increased the state's pandemic totals to 290,972 cases and 4,872 deaths. Clark County had 242 of the new cases and two of the four deaths.

The state's largest county has had 224,469 cases and 3,780 deaths since the pandemic began. Nevada has reported downward trends of known cases, hospitalizations and deaths from COVID-19 since mid-January.

As of Sunday, the state's coronavirus 14-day positivity rate was at 9.9%, the lowest since Nov. 3 when it was 9.8%.
