The Clark County School District announced it will transition many of its employees to work from home starting Thursday and continuing through the end of the month.
Superintendent Jesus Jara said the decision comes following a rise in COVID-19 cases, which prompted Governor Sisoklak this week to urge Nevadans to stay at home as much as possible for the next 14 days.
Earlier this week, the school district released a controversial transition plan to hybrid learning, which calls for students to return to some in-person classes in January.
