Las Vegas Municipal Court has received $50,000 in federal grants to support traffic safety programs, the city of Las Vegas said Monday.
The grants from the Nevada Department of Public Safety's Office of Traffic Safety will help pay for a DUI court case manager who can provide Spanish-language services.
Funding will also go to the Safe Traffic Incentives Program to pay for a case manager and driving class for people with three or more driving offenses.
