Nevada Voters Receive Election Materials With Minor Errors

CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Two Nevada counties mailed voting materials to all active voters in their jurisdictions that contained errors.

Due to a new law that requires Nevada to automatically mail ballots to all active voters, more than 47,000 were mailed in Humboldt and Lyon counties.

In Humboldt County, one reference on the return envelope included in the materials erroneously referred to White Pine County.

In Lyon County, voters received an instruction sheet with outdated rules regarding who can return ballots on behalf of other voters. Voters can still use the materials without fear of having their ballots disqualified.

Both counties are sending out replacement materials.
