UNLV Hopes To Allow Fans To Games

UNLV hopes to have a few fans in to watch its home games at Allegiant Stadium after Governor Steve Sisolak eased crowd size restrictions.

Under the new guidelines, up to 6,500 fans could be allowed in the 65,000 seat stadium.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports local and state government will have to sign off on UNLV's plan, which the athletic department says has already been created.

Tickets will be sold individually for each game.

Masks or other face coverings would be required, and fans would have to social distance.

Last week, the Mountain West Conference announced it would play football this fall, with games starting October 24.

The Las Vegas Raiders, who share the stadium, have said they will not play in front of fans until all the seats can be used.
