The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles is going to offer extended hours on weekdays while closing on Saturdays.
The DMV said its four offices in Henderson and Las Vegas and the one in Reno will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning this coming Monday, August 17. Saturday closings begin this Saturday.
Appointments will still be required for most services, with people able to book the new appointment times by the end of the week. Staff will continue to work on Saturdays to process backlogs and drop-off transactions.
