Man In Las Vegas Terror Case Charged With US Child Abuse Count

LAS VEGAS (AP) — A federal child exploitation charge has been added to conspiracy and firearms counts against a 36-year-old man accused with two others of plotting terrorism attacks during Las Vegas protests in May about race and police policies.

An attorney for suspect Stephen Parshall said Thursday his client will plead not guilty.

Separately, Parshall and two other men face federal and state terrorism, explosives and firearm charges. Prosecutors allege they belonged to an extremist right-wing anti-government group dubbed "boogaloo."

The federal complaint filed Wednesday said a young girl seen in pornographic images on Parshall's phone told authorities he began sexually abusing her when she was about 10.
