Starting this week, most Clark County government offices will be closed on Friday as a cost-cutting measure.
A county spokesman says offices will be open Monday through Thursday with expanded hours, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Those affected include the assessor, recorder, treasurer, Development Services, Comprehensive Planning, constable's office and Las Vegas Justice Court.

Remaining open on Fridays will be Family Services, Animal Control, Juvenile Justice Services, building inspections and code enforcement.
The cities of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson are also on four-day-a-week schedules.
