Man Who Died In Water In Bellagio Fountain Pool Identified

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities have identified a 52-year-old man who apparently drowned while swimming in the fountain pool in front of the Bellagio resort on the Las Vegas Strip.

The Clark County coroner's office said Monday that David C. Swift did not have a known address. Police described the death on Friday as a drowning, but the coroner's office said his cause and manner of death was not immediately determined pending the return of toxicology tests in several weeks.

Police described Swift as homeless and said he had been talking to tourists before entering the water.

How is Las Vegas' healthcare system really doing, and what does it mean for you and your family? Desert Companion's Health Issue takes a deep dive into these questions and explores how heart-centered business leaders prove that doing good benefits the bottom line.
