FILE - In this April 4, 2017, file photo, the fountains of Bellagio erupt along the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas.

Lane closures have begun around parts of the Las Vegas Strip in preparation for the three-day NFL Draft that gets underway in Las Vegas on April 28.

Heavier than usual traffic can be expected in the area for several weeks for both the set up and take down of event-related structures, including a stage at the Fountains of Bellagio.

Most of the various lane closures will be in front of the Bellagio and on Flamingo Road between Las Vegas Boulevard and Koval Lane.
