The Las Vegas City Council has finalized a promotion for Assistant City Attorney Bryan Scott.
The council approved Scott’s appointment as the city’s new lead lawyer at its meeting Wednesday, making him Las Vegas’s first black city attorney.
Scott is replacing Brad Jerbic, who’s leaving the post next month.
