National parks are slowly reopening more services as the holiday weekend begins.
Zion National Park began to reopen last week, and this weekend it will offer limited overnight camping and some services at the Zion Lodge.
Shuttles remain closed, and the number of visitors allowed in will depend on parking available in the main canyon.

Last weekend the park’s gates were closed by 11 a.m. each day. Bryce Canyon has been partly open for two weeks, and the park has begun to collect fees from visitors.
Unlike in Zion, so far the park hasn’t had to close entry gates because of crowds.
