Nevada Higher-Ed Expected To Resume In-Person Classes In The Fall

The Nevada System of Higher Education has begun planning for on-campus classes to resume at colleges and universities in the fall.

Chancellor Thom Reilly said there might even be in-person classes this summer.

Schools under the NSHE umbrella have not had classroom instruction since mid-March on the orders of Governor Steve Sisolak.

Reilly said there might be a few ways to resume classes safely, including having classes that mix in-person and online learning. He cited a science class that could mix lectures with lab sessions on campus, with a variety of anti-COVID-19 safety measures.
