Gaming Commission Approves License For New Casino In Indian Springs

The Nevada Gaming Commission unanimously approved licensing for Herbst IS Holdings LLC for a casino in Indian Springs.

The small town is about 45 miles northwest of Las Vegas just outside Creech Air Force Base.

There was a casino there for many years, but in 2014, the Air Force bought the land where the casino stood.

Herbst acquired the license and says they hope to have the new casino open by early June, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
