Suspect Who Punched Las Vegas Bus Driver Sought By Police

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas police are searching for a man who reportedly punched a bus driver.

Las Vegas Metro Police department issued a surveillance image of the suspect on its Twitter account Monday morning. 

According to authorities, the unidentified man punched the driver as he was getting off the bus near Tropicana and Mojave and then fled. Police did not say if there was any interaction between the two before the incident.

The Regional Transportation Commission has reduced bus service to the Las Vegas Valley in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. They have also installed signs requesting that transit riders keep a safe social distance from drivers.
