Boyd Gaming Will Continue To Pay Employees Until April 10

Boyd Gaming Corporation says it will keep paying its workers until April 10 amid coronavirus-related closures.

President and CEO Keith Smith told full-time and part-time employees in a letter they won’t be required to expend paid time off and they will still receive their current benefits coverage during that period.

Smith said staff are required to be available for work if their jobs are involved with a planned re-opening or otherwise considered essential. Boyd Gaming employs about 10,000 people in Las Vegas.
