LAS VEGAS (AP) — A county official says Las Vegas-area family services employees have begun working remotely after one worker tested positive for the new coronavirus and was hospitalized.
Spokesman Erik Pappa said Friday a second Department of Family Services worker has been directed to self-quarantine, but neither employee had contact with children or families at work.
The family services office will be sanitized before being reopened to limited staff performing essential functions, Pappa says. A family services hotline is currently operating from a secondary location.
