NSHE Asks Students Living In Dorms To Return To Their Homes

Nevada’s System of Higher Education is asking students living in dorms to leave and return home. Students who are from other states or countries, however, will be allowed to stay.

Library and computer lab access may still be allowed, so long as social distancing protocols are followed. Also, some programs including nurse training and scientific research can continue at the discretion of each university president.

The announcement came from NSHE Chancellor Thom Reilly.

This comes on the heels of Governor Sisolak’s direction to close all non-essential businesses for 30 days.
