Firefighters in Nevada have confirmed two people were injured in a house fire in central Las Vegas.
A Las Vegas Fire Department spokesman says the fire was reported Thursday west of The Strip near West Sahara Avenue.

Las Vegas Fire and Rescue officials say four people were trapped inside the house and needed rescue from the one-story home.
Firefighters say each of the four people were examined at the scene with two refusing treatment and two being taken to University Medical Center for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
