The top tourism boss for Reno-Tahoe is being investigated for unspecified allegations of misconduct.
An attorney for the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority confirmed Tuesday that President and CEO Phil DeLone is the subject of an ongoing personnel investigation.
RSCVA attorney Benjamin Kennedy acknowledged the probe in response to a public records request submitted by the Reno Gazette-Journal.
Kennedy declined to provide any details about the nature of the inquiry. Kennedy says releasing the information would jeopardize the integrity of the investigation and potentially impact the candor of multiple witnesses who have yet to be interviewed.
