Las Vegas officials say a cyber attack Tuesday breached the city's computer systems, but it wasn't immediately clear if any sensitive data was compromised.
City spokesman David Riggleman told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that city officials were alerted to the breach around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.

He says the city's information technology department reacted quickly and is taking "extensive steps" to protect the computer system.
Riggleman says Las Vegas will know more about the scope of the breach in a day or two.
