Undocumented students and advocates met with Nevada System of Higher Education administrators Tuesday to discuss the roadblocks they face in trying to go to college.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports a major concern is the lack of K-through-12 and college-level counselors who understand immigration issues.
This results in students who are eligible for college being turned away.
Students at the roundtable also shared other obstacles they face in seeking higher education, including for some finding out that they were undocumented.
