After two delays, the Clark County Zoning Commission approved the Raiders’ request for waivers of development standards for signs planned for Allegiant Stadium.
The commission had to wait for a review of the plans by the Federal Aviation Administration, which received them late last month.
The FAA found the three signs in question would not pose any hazard to air traffic.

An FAA review was required because of their height and the stadium’s location near McCarran International Airport. One of the signs reaches 185 feet above ground level, with the two others being 50 feet above ground level.
