Nevada Joins Antitrust Case Against Google

Nevada is joining 48 other states, Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico in an antitrust case against Google.

In a statement, Attorney General Aaron Ford said Google is present across consumers’ day-to-day digital activities and the probe “will uncover whether Google’s business practices are negatively affecting individuals and businesses.”

Texas attorney general Ken Paxton, who’s spearheading the effort says there exists “evidence that Google’s business practices may have undermined consumer choice, stifled innovation, violated users’ privacy, and put Google in control of the flow and dissemination of online information.”
