Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford announced his office would join 47 other states in an investigation into Facebook for possible antitrust violations.
The investigation will focus on whether Facebook broke any state or federal laws by stifling competition, and "endangered consumer data, reduced the quality of consumers’ choices, and increased the price of advertising."
The multistate investigation launched in September with seven states but since then has expanded to encompass most of the country.
