The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is changing its timetable for renovation and rebranding as a Virgin Hotel.
The hotel had planned a phased closing for four months followed by a total closure for four more months, but in a statement, JC Hospitality President and CEO Richard Bosworth said the remodeling would require a complete eight-month closure of the entire property.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that the full closure will begin after next February’s Super Bowl, with a re-opening set for the end of 2020.
