Google Announces Plans For New Data Center In Henderson

The City of Henderson and Google executives have announced plans for a new data center in Henderson.

The center is currently being built. 

According to Henderson Mayor Debra March, the data center is a $600 million project, and it’s expected to create 50 jobs with an average salary of $65,000 a year.

Google executives also announced they will invest $1 million in a community development project aimed at funding and working with Nevada non-profits. 

Google officials are also expected to announce additional investments that will contribute to Las Vegas’ economy
