Nevada Ranks 28th In Active Human Trafficking Cases

A new report shows Nevada ranks 28 th in the nation for the number of active criminal human trafficking cases making their way through federal courts.

The Human Trafficking Institute compiled the report based on court data from 2018, which found seven cases of human trafficking in federal courts in Nevada.

Nevada initiated no new criminal human trafficking cases in 2018, ranking the state last in the nation for new cases along with 19 other states.
