Body Recovered From A Reno Lake; Believed To Be Missing Teen

 

RENO, Nev. (AP) — Authorities say a body has been recovered from a Reno lake and it's believed to be a 17-year-old boy missing since last month.

Washoe County search and rescue volunteers found the body Saturday Silver Lake.

Authorities and volunteers have been searching the lake after receiving a report of the missing teen.

The Reno Gazette-Journal reports that Sunni Dicarrillo was last seen March 17 and his kayak was found floating in the water later that day.

Authorities haven't released information on the identity of the boy found in the lake Saturday morning.

Reno police officials say they are continuing the investigation and working with the county Regional Medical Examiner's Office.
