Uber customers in Las Vegas can avoid surge pricing under a subscription service rolled out last week by the ride-share company.
For $24.99 per month, users get a set rates that do not go up at busy times, when the company imposes higher so-called “surge” pricing. Driver compensation remains the same.
Las Vegas was among 20 cities where the Ride Pass subscription option was introduced.
