Nevada Reports Initial Unemployment Claims Down In February

CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — State economic analysts say Nevada is continuing a string of monthly reports showing drops in initial claims for unemployment insurance benefits, with February marking a low point for the month since 1999.

The Research and Analysis Bureau reports that initial claims in February totaled 9,290, down nearly 5.5 percent from February 2018 and down 18.4 percent from January.
