LAS VEGAS (AP) — One of the two Nevada residents charged in a wide-ranging college admissions bribery scheme made an initial court appearance Tuesday.
Federal court records show former casino executive Gamal Abdelaziz appeared before a judge Tuesday afternoon in law enforcement custody and wearing leg restraints.
He did not enter a plea and was released and ordered to appear before a judge in Boston on March 29.

Court records show he told the judge he will hire a lawyer in Massachusetts.
