The Las Vegas Valley will see some rain overnight Monday into Tuesday morning, and that rain will be snow at higher elevations.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the Spring Mountains from 4 p.m. Monday through 7 a.m. Tuesday, saying the mountains could receive eight to 14 inches of snowfall, with as much as 20 inches at elevations above 9,500 feet.
While the valley’s temperatures will remain well above freezing, the Weather Service expects more rain on Wednesday and Thursday.
