Nevada To Get $1.8 Million In Fiat Chrysler Settlement

Fiat Chrysler will pay more than $500 million to resolve Justice Department lawsuits over claims it used illegal software to allow 104,000 diesel vehicles to skirt emissions guidelines.

Thursday, Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford’s office announced the state will receive over $1.8 million from a settlement with Fiat Chrysler and Robert Bosch.

The Justice Department says the settlement does not resolve any potential criminal liability. It also does not resolve any civil litigation that has been filed against the companies.
