Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman described the city’s economy as “solid” and employment as “incredibly strong” in her State of the City address Thursday night.
While her overall tone was optimistic, Goodman addressed homelessness as a point of concern.
The mayor pledged to make finding effective solutions for homeless people a priority and urged local government officials across the valley to unite with her in that goal.
