Dennis Hof's replacement in the Nevada Assembly has been selected.
The Clark, Lincoln and Nye county commissions met together Friday morning to appoint Gregory Hafen to the seat, which was vacated when the dead brothel owner was elected to office this November.
His appointment was made unanimously.
Nevada law dictates any legislative vacancies be filled by a resident of the district in question and a member of the former representative's political party.
Hafen, a Republican, chairs the Pahrump Regional Planning Commission and is general manager of the Pahrump Utility Company.
