Michelle Obama Holding Voter Registration Rally In Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Former first lady Michelle Obama will headline a voter registration rally in Las Vegas on Sunday.

The rally from organization When We All Vote will take place at Chaparral High School from 4 to 6 p.m.

Obama is a co-chair of the organization, which encourages voting in November and future elections.

She's expected to speak to voter registration volunteers, along with newly-registered voters.

She's also holding a similar event in Miami next week.

Obama has long been one of the most popular draws among Democrats but she has kept a low profile since leaving the White House in January 2017 and has limited her political commitments for now to helping When We All Vote.

How is Las Vegas' healthcare system really doing, and what does it mean for you and your family? Desert Companion's Health Issue takes a deep dive into these questions and explores how heart-centered business leaders prove that doing good benefits the bottom line.
