Reno City Council Looks To Change How Strip Clubs Operate

The Reno City Council voted Wednesday to change the way strip clubs operate, including barring lap dances, private booths, and direct tipping.

The council has for several years now been looking for ways to upgrade code enforcement to better regulate Reno strip clubs, contending they’re a detriment to downtown revitalization.

The council also wants the four existing downtown clubs to move to industrial areas. A final vote by the council on the proposed changes is expected by the end of the year.
