LAS VEGAS (AP) — Protesters opposed to family separations at the U.S.-Mexico border will take to the streets in Las Vegas on Saturday as part of a nationwide demonstration.
Organizers say more than 700 "Families Belong Together" events are expected around the country. They're demanding that the Trump administration permanently end family separations and immediately reunite children and parents.
The demonstrations follow the arrests in Washington this week of nearly 600 women wearing white and railing against the now-abandoned separation policy.
