A Nye County Commissioner formally announced a withdraw of her endorsement of Republican gubernatorial candidate Adam Laxalt.
In a statement Monday, Donna Cox said that because of Laxalt’s lack of support for Dennis Hof’s primary win, she is withdrawing her support for Laxalt.
Cox said she is now endorsing Ryan Bundy for governor of Nevada.
Hof defeated incumbent assemblyman James Oscarson in the primary.
After his win, several Republican leaders in the state, including Laxalt, said they would not support the brothel owner.
Donna Cox is a Nye County Commissioner representing District 3. She was elected in 2012.
