Park Services Raises Fees At Lake Mead

Entrance fees to Lake Mead National Recreation Area have been raised by $5. 

The change went into effect this past weekend.

Visitors now pay $25 for a seven-day pass for private vehicle, with an annual park pass now costing $45. 

Higher fees at nearly 120 national parks will provide additional funds for infrastructure and maintenance. 

Eighty percent of Lake Mead’s entrance fees are applied directly in the park.
